Reb Chaim Stein -The Rosh Yeshiva of Telshe Yeshiva learned in the famed Kelm Yeshiva as a boy. His Chavrusa was Reb Nosson Vachtfogel who was a mashgiach of Beth Medrash Govoah. Here is a picture of a meeting they had many years later. Reb Chaim Steins grandson was nice enough to share with me this picture

My grandfather lost his entire family in the holocaust. From the few remaining relatives left were the Feigelstock family who came over to Canada before the war. After my grandparents passed away we were cleaning out their house and found this picture. Sitting on the far right is Reb Yitzchak Feigelstocks mother who was my great great aunt

If you grew up in Toronto in the 80's you would know that the Yesodei Hatorah school was on Lawrence. At one point Yesodei Hatorah was able to buy the Seneca College building on Glen Rush but the shul that was inside the school remained. That shul was called "De ALte Yesodei" The old Yesodei. Rav Lipa Vechter served as a rov of that shul for many years.
